2026-2027 Season Overview
Program Purpose
The Guelph Curling House Program creates a season-long identity for every youth curler, encouraging belonging, leadership, mentorship and skill development. Rather than separating athletes only by age or ability, curlers are placed into balanced Houses that work together, learn together and celebrate together throughout the season.
House Assignment
Every athlete is assigned to a House before the season begins. House placement is carefully considered by the coaching team to create balanced communities that include a variety of ages, experience levels, personalities and leadership qualities.
Our goal is not to build the strongest house, but to create four supportive teams where every athlete has an opportunity to contribute, grow and succeed. House assignments remain in place for the entire season, allowing athletes to develop friendships, traditions and a strong sense of belonging.
